Jessamyn Fitzpatrick

Researcher

As a strategic guide at Brandtrust, I have privilege of working alongside market research tools like Emotional Inquiry that generates Human Truth via emotional mapping in order to build out consumer narratives and make connections across seemingly disparate backgrounds and experiences. I have spent the last decade years working at the intersection of theatre and reproductive justice, with a concentration on education and engagement strategies. I am an actor, workshop facilitator and teaching artist who has written and devised participatory theatre pieces, spent several years teaching sex education to middle and high school students, and toured the country delivering sexual assault prevention programming to college campuses and military bases.

I am a curious, high-energy creative who thrives in collective environments and learning spaces – born and raised in Chicago by two English majors with major wanderlust, I have spent most of my life doing everything I can to surround myself with other word-nerds who like to stay up late talking about society, social justice and fantasy novels. I am committed to showing up authentically and vulnerably in the world and creating an invitation for others to join me in that space of brave feeling.

Holistically using diverse research methodologies in order to find shared threads of empathy and compassion in respondents that move us to connect with each other and fight for meaning in the time we are given.
