Evan Kim

Sales & Marketing Associate

As a Business Development associate, I have the privilege of playing an active role in marketing and sales initiatives that adapt with industry trends. With a background of working in education, I have learned to move with the tide of the workflow, to juggle glass and rubber balls when we are busy and to be efficient and make systems better during a calm afternoon. I like to rebuild systems within operations that don’t work for me to see if they can be improved across the team, increasing its efficiency and intuitiveness. I like to contribute towards a professional and client-facing environment that allows both my team and the client to be their authentic and kind selves while nurturing a partnership that grows business for both teams.

I am slowly becoming the person that will see something that used to be impossible fade in the rearview mirror after I work to make it possible. One of the first things I want to do when I meet new people is find out how I can make them laugh, so that we can laugh together. If I’m not at work, I’m probably looking for a recipe that will challenge my cooking skillset, or a movie that will entertain while expanding my mindset.

Holistically, I use strategy and innovation to tackle a sales or marketing challenge in order to shape, polish and/or refine a system currently in place. I play an active role in the project management of a proposal and provide support to all things sales enablement and business development.

QUICK FACTS ABOUT EVAN:

  • Culture List: Everything Everywhere All At Once and “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
  • Bucket Items: Run a marathon, cook spaghetti & meatballs with burrata from scratch, and get married.
  • Memorable Facts: Brandtrust’s resident film critic. Apparently, I’m also the mom-friend because I checked the stove at my friend’s house before we left for the day, and his dad still remembers me for it.
  • One Human Truth I Live By: The person I was, is not who I am, but I should not bury the past away, since that person can still teach me how to be the person I want to be.
