Monica Jamouneau

“The best part about Brandtrust is the people you get to work with,” says Monica Jamouneau, an Associate Consultant who works as a writer for our New Business function, developing proposals and miscellaneous copy for current and potential clients. “There’s a wonderful feeling of loyalty and community,” she adds, “and you really get the sense that everyone is fascinated by the work, not only on a business level, but on a personal, intellectual level.”

Monica comes to us from Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was a magazine section editor and assisted in coordinating a non-profit literary festival, which promotes increased youth and adult literacy throughout the state. Her background in journalism has provided her with the ability to speak to a variety of industries and challenges with confidence, and she loves being part of a discussion that leads to a business solution for one of our clients.

Coming from the South, Monica is still not used to the weather but admits that Chicago is growing on her. She especially loves the summer festivals all over the city, running on the lake and the wide variety of ethnic food. And although most of her family is still back East, she is thankful everyday that one of her four older brothers also lives in Chicago for her to annoy and mooch off of.
