Kate Toland

Like so many of us, Kate comes to Brandtrust with an eclectic and varied background. But there is a common thread that unifies all of her previous experiences, which is that she has always sought to understand and then persuasively communicate ideas. In Brandtrust she’s found a welcoming home for a person whose brain thrives on lateral thinking and finding insightful, new connections between disparate ideas.

Of working here she says, “Brandtrust is an atmosphere that recognizes and celebrates its employees for the individuals that we are. We work with the largest companies in the world, and I’m so impressed with the caliber of thinking that we bring them, yet we have a collegiate intimacy in our office that is fun, relaxed, and laid back.... as long as you get your stuff done!”

Kate’s previous clients include MasterCard, Radiometer, The Hartford, Women & Company (a division of CitiBank), Radio Flyer and Lincoln Financial Group.

Kate loves living in Chicago, which she characterizes as a cleaner, friendlier and more affordable version of New York, but says that the city’s wind is no friend to women who like to wear skirts.  She’s a voracious reader who loves to share fine meals and good wine with friends.  Although she grew up all over the country, her colleagues would tell you that she strikes us as a quintessential Southern lady (with a wicked sense of humor sometimes sneaking in).
