Dan Bryan

Researcher

Like many of us at Brandtrust, Dan has been well-prepared for our work by a diverse and somewhat eclectic background. His undergraduate studies in mechanical engineering and business management forge a powerful combination with his master’s degree in communications and culture. In addition to showing a strong sense of curiosity and a search for insights about the world around him, Dan has also sought to make a meaningful impact on society, predominantly devoting himself to pastoral work and non-profit causes in his prior professional life.

In speaking of the qualities that equipped him to work at Brandtrust, Dan says, “I’m an equal mix of ‘why’ and ‘how,’ always eager to understand the deeper reasons behind things, while at the same time equally interested in their practical implications. The most rewarding part of working at Brandtrust has been having an outlet for that passion to find insights that's also grounded in the reality of using those insights to make businesses more successful.”

During his time with Brandtrust, Dan has worked on client engagements including General Mills, Eli Lilly, Kraft, and GlaxoSmithKline.

In his spare time, Dan is, among other things, a foodie. He is an aspiring chef and wine connoisseur and relishes in attempting new cuisines and preparing food for friends, family and strangers alike. He is also a marathon runner and a longtime singer and musician, having taught himself how to play yet another musical instrument, the piano, in the last year.
